Professional Chimney Cowl Fitting Services

We supply and fit a range of good quality/stylish chimney cowls to prevent the birds from nesting in your flue.

The best time to fit your cowl is before the bird nesting season early spring. If you were unfortunate enough to have a nesting bird in your chimney pot, you must not use your fire, and we cannot fit a cowl or sweep your chimney. You would not believe the number of twigs etc a bird will drop down your chimney when they are building a nest.

On occasions birds can fall down your chimney or behind a gas fire so we also work alongside a qualified gas engineer which would allow us to remove the bird/nest.

Most of our products we use are made for us from Stainless Steel as we have the belief to do the job once and do it correctly. 

Cheaply produced low quality bird cowls will require replacing after a very short time due to corrosion from the fuel burnt.

We also supply caps to block off disused flues or bespoke cowls for decorative pots.

We can also recommend/carry out flaunching repairs around the chimney pot if required or on some occasions old chimneys may also require repointing or have other roofing defect;  we carry out these repairs alongside a local roofer who we work with on a regular basis.

We can access your chimney with ladders or would advise if a hydraulic access platform /scaffolding is required.
