These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of chimney sweeping and related services (“Services”) by \[Your Business Name], referred to as "we," "our," or "us." By booking or receiving services from us, you ("the Customer") agree to these Terms.

Services Provided

We offer chimney sweeping and inspection services for residential and small commercial properties. Additional services may include:

  • Fireplace and flue inspections

  • Stove cleaning and maintenance

  • Creosote removal

  • Cowl fitting

  • Safety advice

  • Woodburner Installations

Appointments & Access

  • Appointments are scheduled in advance via phone, email, or online booking.

  • The Customer agrees to provide clear and safe access to the property and chimney.

  • Pets must be secured, and any valuables or fragile items should be removed from the working area.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be subject to a cancellation fee of £45.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Pricing and Payment

  • Prices are quoted prior to the service based on the type and complexity of work required.

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, or card.

  • Late payments may incur a fee of 5% per week overdue.

Customer Responsibilities

  • The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the chimney or flue has not been used in the 12 hours prior to the appointment.

  • Any pre-existing structural issues or damage must be disclosed in advance.

  • We are not liable for damage caused by poor chimney condition or non-compliance with safety regulations.

Limitation of Liability

  • We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care.

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • We do not accept responsibility for issues arising from previously undisclosed structural faults or from improper appliance use.

Warranties and Guarantees

  • We guarantee our workmanship for 30 days after service completion.

  • This guarantee does not cover damage or issues caused by misuse, poor maintenance, or structural faults.

Health and Safety

  • We comply with all applicable health and safety regulations.

  • We reserve the right to stop work if unsafe conditions are identified, and we will advise the Customer accordingly.

Privacy Policy

Complaints and Disputes

  • If you are unhappy with the service provided, please contact us within 7 days so we can resolve the issue.

  • Complaints must be submitted in writing by email or post.

  • We aim to resolve disputes in a fair and timely manner.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
